Intended to be a training ground for the manufacturing community in southern Wisconsin, the Applied Manufacturing Technology Center was designed as a place where a manufacturer could set up new equipment for training employees prior to the incorporation of that equipment or process permanently into their plant.
Highlights of the 45,000 SF project included a 100’ long viewing clerestory overlooking a 6000 square-foot CNC lab where these million dollar machines are exhibited. BAG designed along side southern Wisconsin's most prestigous manufacturers this 45,000 SF multifaceted work space for teaching and learning. Included were Tool & Die spaces, six large integrated training rooms, private work pods and a 2,000 square-foot teleconferencing auditorium.
