| Blessed Sacrament |
|
| In 1953 a young ambitious german immigrant architect named Heinz Brummel, intertwined an incredible tapestry of colors and images with stories of the Old and New Testament into a 40’ x 40’ stained glass window. Assembled on a gym floor over a three month period, the final design rests eternally on a west facing window of the Blessed Sacrament Church in south Milwaukee. This page displays only a small portion of the many images located there. A ‘passion piece’ to both God and the parish that commissioned him, it also stands as ‘legacy’ to the family he raised in America. |
